Data protection at Bitlab Studio

We take the protection of your personal data seriously and so we want to guide you through how we gather data, what data is stored and what happens with that information. Personal data is everything that allows us to identify you directly and personally. The following passage is a first overview. Gathering and processing data on our websites

What kind of data do we gather?

As soon as you open our website, some technical data like your IP address and the time of your visit are saved. This is a standard and automated process. It allows to identify every visitor and is similar to a security camera on the entrance of a building.

Furthermore we get in touch with your data, when you contact us via contact form, phone or email.

How is your data processed?

We use your data to improve our website and for analysis if its useful. Also we can use it to solve problems with the site, in case there are any.

Futhermore we want to know who visits us and how visitors navigate our site and which content they look at. This helps us which content we can improve for you.

We as owners of the website are responsible for gathering, processing and distribution of your data. We will always handle your data with great care.

This site uses the web analytics service Google Analytics by Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. It uses cookies to track your stay on our website. The hereby gathered data is sent to the servers of this service and is stored there. The use follows Art. 6. Par. 1 lit. f GDPR and serves to optimize our website and services.

We let Google use this information to analyze your stay and create reports about website and internet usage, that allow us to improve our services. We have enabled IP anonymization by default. The IP addresses are then shortened before being transmitted to Google. The retention period is 26 months. Should you not return to our website within that time period, Google has committed themselves to delete your data after that.

Server logging

When you visit our website with your browser, our server stores some data in so called log files. These are:

  • IP address

  • Operating system
  • Referrer URL

This also falls under Art. 6 Par. 1 lit. b GDPR, which allows "processing necessary data for performance of a contract to which the data subject is party or in order to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract". These log files will only be reviewed in case of errors or attacks against our website and will never be merged with other data sources.

Data gathering beyond our website

Contact form and email

We offer contact requests emails. Should you contact us via email, all data that you provide us with will only be processed to fulfill the purpose of the contact request and will be stored or forwarded for possible questions or responses. Processing this data serves as means of communication according to Art. 6 Par. 1 S. 1 lit. a GDPR and according to your own given consent.

Storing of data from these requests

This data is stored partially as email in our inbox at Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA as well as at our selected CRM service provider at Copper Inc., 301 Howard St. #600, San Francisco, CA 94105.

For partners

To ensure the painless transmission of availabilities and project schedules, selected recruiting and project partners have the opportunity to receive recurring emails about relevant updates.
These emails include information about changes in availability, CV, skill profile and project history of internal and external employees as well as notifications about new employees, that could be relevant to the recruiting or project partner.
The approval of receiving these emails can be withdrawn at any time via email or via the link that's included in each recurring email.

External service providers and freelancers

Apart from our internal recruiting demands we're offering freelancers and agencies to connect them to project and recruiting partners. For this matter contact information (name, area or address, email, phone number, company) is stored in our CRM.
The approval of receiving these emails can be withdrawn at any time.
